The Desert Rocks Music Festival www.desertrocks.org, is a 4 day camping event in the beautiful Red Rock Cliff Desert surrounding Moab, Utah. The festival takes place over Memorial Day Weekend May 27-30 and includes the national headliners along with the top Rock n’ Roll, Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Funk, Reggae, Folk, and Jam bands from Utah and Colorado. The event is attended by an eclectic mix of outdoor enthusiasts, live music fans, a large assortment of vendors, desert dwellers, and an array of talented performers. Music and festivities roll all night until sunrise each day.
The atmosphere is uncanny, the Desert Rocks crowd is notorious for creating a community vibe that radiates positivity and kindness. Coupled with complete desert isolation this vibe allows for the unfolding of a wonderfully unique festival experience that many claim to be life changing.
The setting is picturesque with the La Salle Mountains towering in the background of the warm desert landscape filled with red rock and junipers. The stage structure is massive eminating beautiful sound and an exquisite array of lights and colorful shadows. Food, clothing, crafts, and art vendors provide a bustling festival marketplace where you will find whatever your heart desires. Magnificent giant sculptures and colorful fabrics adorn the festival grounds.
